About Me
Hi, I’m Trisha and Im the owner of the Playful Little Thinkers.
I am so happy to share with you my story, and the latest adventures of me and my family. We live in Tennessee where my husband and I have been married for almost seven wonderful years! With our two children – both boys, Caden, age 5, and Hudson, who just turned 3.
These boys keep me on my toes. haha! They are your typical boys! They love getting dirty and playing with bugs and rolling trucks in the mud! They are both full of energy and you never know what they will get into next! Never a dull moment!
I started putting together my own homeschool preschool curriculum for my oldest when he was 3 year old and he absolutely loves them. I also love doing all kinds of activities with my boys. Kids their age learn better through play so I try to do a mix of active play as well as more structured activities such as crafts and worksheets but mostly active!
I love mom hacks and anything that can make life as a mom a little bit easier. If you have any to share I would love to hear them!
Ever since I was a little girl I said I wanted to be a teacher or own a daycare. I love working with kids and teaching kids. I taught in daycares and preschools for about 10 years and I loved it so much. I knew I was meant to be a teacher, I just didn’t realize it would be as a stay at home mom. I love having this time with my boys and pray I am able to enjoy it for many years to come!

- I was born in Little Rock, Arkansas
- I love cooking and kitchen gadgets
- I wanted to be a teacher almost my whole life but…
- I ended up being an ultrasound tech instead and I loved it until I had kids and became a stay at home mom
- I love pickles and I eat a bowl of them almost every night
- Freezer meals are the only thing that keeps me out of the drive through a lot of days
- I prefer the mountains over the beach
- I need caffeine in the morning but I don’t like coffee
- My family is my world and I’ll do anything for them
